Flex Queue: FAQ

What is Ranked Flex in League of Legends?

Ranked Flex is the second 5v5 ranked queue on Summoner's Rift. Unlike Solo/Duo, you can queue alone or as a duo, but also as a group of three or five players.

How many players can be in a Flex party?

You can queue for Flex alone, as a duo, as a group of three or as a full team of five. A party of four can't enter Ranked Flex: it needs a fifth player or a normal game.

Are there rank restrictions in Flex?

There are no Flex rank restrictions for Diamond and below: anyone can play together. To queue with Master+ players you need to be at least Emerald.

What is the difference between Flex and Solo/Duo?

Solo/Duo allows at most two players in a party and has strict rank restrictions for duos. In Flex you can play in a party of up to five, your Flex rank is separate from Solo/Duo, and end-of-season rewards are separate too.

How do I unlock ranked?

You need summoner level 30, at least 20 champions and 10 played Normal or Swiftplay games.

How do I find players for Flex?

Post a party on this page, or pick a region, rank and role in the filter and message the authors of matching parties. Player ranks and stats come from the Riot API.
